Mall Logo Project

Under this project, we would like to create logos for each of the 20 malls in malton. The below gallery shows all logo already created, some already used. Please, comment in the talk page if you have ideas for the 7 malls that dont have a logo for them yet. Keep in context with things about the history of the mall, suburb, or groups that ever occupied the mall.

Woodroffe Mall

I have made two logos for Woodroffe. One shows Mount Woodroffe, in Australia. The second one shows Ngitaka, the Guardian Spirit of Mount Woodroffe. I ask those who are following this project to vote on which logo should be used for that mall. Please, vote one for the Mount logo, and two for the Guardian Spirit logo. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 18:23, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

  1. one - I like both of them, but think I prefer the Mountain one for Woodroffe. --Xyu 18:33, 21 January, 2007 (GMT)
  2. one - Cause the other one looks weird. --Sir Sonny Corleone RRF CRF DORIS Hunt! 23:45, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
  3. one - It's more neutral and aesthetically pleasing. --Matthew Fahrenheit YRCT+1 04:12, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
  4. one - The mountain one fits in with the others better methinks (plus I just happen to like it better) --Leo Howard 07:09, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
  5. One - The colors appear to agree more with the other pictures. --ZombieSlay3rSig.png 17:07, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
  6. Two - The mountain spirit looks original, plus it gives the Mall a good mascot. Maybe we could find mascot costumes or stuffed toys in this mall! - User:Joe Trzaska 13:34, 22 January 2007 (EST)
  7. One - The mountain is more agreeable to the eyes, and also goes well with the name of this particular mall. - Takiel 16:42, 22 January 2007 (EST)
  8. One - It just looks a little nicer, more elegant. --Vikermac 00:35, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
  9. Two - I like the idea of something different instead of just a mountain. A Guardian spirit is also totaly appropriate so it protects and watches over the mall.--Kiddy 00:58, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
  10. One - Fits with the others. Daniel Hicken 01:16, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
  11. One - what matt said--SexualharrisonMalton Rangers/mossad 14:16, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
  12. One - Cause two looks ugly. --Slice 'N' Dicin' Axe Hack 14:35, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

Voting Closed No one likes the spirit guardian here :( All my RL friends voted for it. Ow bugger, we'll stay with the mountain and end this voting. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 01:29, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

Tompson Mall

Here's a tentative file. Please let me know if you like:

The Great Mall Map

Once the logos are all done, a map with a quick link for all maps will be created. The map will work like the below map, created and used in wikipedia during the 2006 World Cup.

Mall Pages New Layout

Most malls have a completely different layout from the others. Under this project, we will filter all info that need to be shown, where it should be in the page, and how it should look like. I already did some work in the Caiger Mall page, but its hardly what i aim for. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 04:26, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

I like the layout, but I vote that history only go back at most a month, and probably 15 days would be better. Just my thoughts. Daniel Hicken 15:09, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
when i said history, i meant the whole history of the mall, since the early days of the game. There is a fine difference between recent news and history. The first covers the latest news in the smallest details possible, while the second covers everything notewhorty that happened in said place, but with only a brief discussion on what exactly happened. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 16:10, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
