::Just so you know, Box-man, you can keep your seat.  This is not some crazy plan to get into a close race with Boxy for the seat just to withdraw at the very last minute to ensure all my votes don't count, leaving absolutely no time for anyone who voted for me to change their vote, thus ensuring Boxy pretty much wins by default.  Nope, definitely not some crazy plan like that.  I'm just not that interested right now, but it is nice to see who is willing to trust me with such a role. --{{User:Axe Hack/Sig}} 11:10, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

¿Qué?

Was my vote invalid?

While on the topic, is multi-voting no longer a problem?

Yrs,

Revenant 13:22, 9 October 2015 (UTC)

You had the same bullshit text covering over other people's votes, so yeah, you fuck with the formatting of a page, you lose the right to vote, and get a vandal banning case against you. And yeah, he can't vote for both. They'll be struck -- boxy 13:26, 9 October 2015 (BST)
Bugger. Looked fine when I tested it. Psyduck
“Lose the right to vote”? Got a rule, policy, or guideline covering that, do ya? Revenant 13:36, 9 October 2015 (UTC)
You've already used that bullshit, "get out of jail free" card, on your signature. You know full well that it fucks up the formatting for others, so it's vandalism, which gets reverted on sight -- boxy 13:38, 9 October 2015 (BST)
That was orders of magnitude out from either of the sigs, but meh, I suppose you’re right: some browsers really don’t seem to handle it at all well and it’s apparently unpredictable. ⇜ɼ̲̪͕ﻉ̣͉̼̼̬͍͇͝۷̘ﻉ͚̗̰͎̹̰ก͔̠̲̱ค̛̗̱̖̭̙̝ก̞̝̣̩Շ͉͉̼͖͉̦ 13:56, 9 October 2015 (UTC)
You love pushing the limit for not other reason than to see what you can get away with. Even with your current sig. And the wiki is overly tolerant of it, from you. You know that you can test that shit in a sandbox somewhere. So next time, do it -- boxy 14:01, 9 October 2015 (BST)

Just Asking For Help

Hi there, I can't seem to upload images to the wiki, I'm getting the message : Upload warning, Could not create directory "mwstore://local-backend/local-public/c/cf". Is there any chance you could help with this please? Also, if you're not sure what's happening and nothing can be done, would it be ok if you uploaded the image for me please? It's just for a zombie group, and is here : http://i.imgur.com/KSQTCzg.jpg

Thanks loads if you can help anyway! -- Xyu888 10:44, 6 June 2015 (BST)

Yeah, unfortunately, after the last update, it became impossible to upload or delete images. It's been brought up before. Perhaps look for an image already uploaded, that may suit your needs? -- boxy 09:58, 6 June 2015 (BST)

Ah ok, will try to do that instead then, and thanks for the help. -- Xyu888 11:10, 6 June 2015 (BST)

Photos

You mind easing up on the photos? They're filling up the recent changes page. --Jerran1 (talk) 19:38, 4 June 2015 (UTC)

Filling up RC with actual edits is how things are supposed to work. ;) Filling up RC with unnecessary edits that could have been handled via previewing is a problem since it makes finding the actual edits more difficult. Aichon 20:05, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
True, but he could've staggered them or something, instead of filling up the whole RC in less than an hour. --Jerran1 (talk) 21:07, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
Ehh, better to get it over quickly, that way it leaves RC quickly. Plus, better to get it over when you're in the mood to do it, since otherwise it may not get done at all, ya know? Aichon 21:50, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
Wow, what a sweet world we live in where 200 or so edits in a day is filling up RC etc. The whole place still feels super quiet to me, even with Boxy's edits.--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 23:34, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
We should get the Rooster back - and disable the bot group for his toys this time. Then the hapless newbs would learn what an active RC really looks like :P -- Spiderzed 09:42, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
I suggest you increase the number of edits shown on your recent changes page (mine is at 250, and shows plenty of edits below my spam) or you could hide minor edits -- boxy 21:53, 4 June 2015 (BST)

Cat Business

In two days from now a cat decision is abrewing.
The Akule bid has hardly useful opinions on it. Extending it might be the best choice.

Hello there! I just want to inform you that for the past few months new members cannot sign into this wiki. This is the message that keeps coming up. "Set $wgShowExceptionDetails = true; at the bottom of LocalSettings.php to show detailed debugging information." I was hoping that you or any of the admins of this wiki page can look into this and solve the problem. It would help this wiki come back to once how it was. Thank you! --LuE Colo 20:57, 23 September 2014 (UTC)

SZ

A huge gap, I must say. I'm happy with SZ to retain his buttons, unless something mental happens in the next few days. --Rosslessness 17:46, 25 August 2014 (UTC)

The wiki obviously wouldn't function without him -- boxy 00:50, 28 August 2014 (BST)

Gnome will up in a few days. The bid looks unanimous. Unless he gets revealed to have been Cornholioo all the time I think we can hand him the buttons back on Thursday. -- Spiderzed 16:42, 8 June 2014 (UTC)

*bump*Wednesday. Bid will run out tomorrow. -- Spiderzed 23:49, 10 June 2014 (UTC)

Bob Moncrief

My fellow crat, it seems like there is a notable notion to keep Bob, but also likely that he will be auto-demoted shortly after the start of the world cup. Thoughts? -- Spiderzed 19:58, 9 May 2014 (UTC)

I don't see any reason to demote him before the automatic, inactivity clause kicks in (shortly). He's a good psysop, when he's around -- boxy 10:21, 10 May 2014 (BST)
I'm not comfortable with re-evaluating anyone who doesn't show up at his RE, and hasn't given any response for months. I'd rather cycle it as unsucessful and let him re-apply when - or if - he shows up again on the wiki. -- Spiderzed 20:54, 10 May 2014 (UTC)
OK. I'll demote him then -- boxy 07:15, 19 May 2014 (BST)

Broken Redirect

Hey there Boxy, this page showed up on the Broken Redirects-list while I was patrolling: User:Boxy/Sandbox/UHUB. Please consider putting it up for deletion and help keep the wiki clean ;) PB&J 12:59, 19 June 2013 (BST)

I just deleted it as a broken redirect due to a page move, which doesn't need documenting (as it's a scheduled deletion). Thanks for pointing that out -- boxy 15:13, 21 June 2013 (BST)

Great Fire banner

Hey Boxy, I was wondering why you removed the ALiM banner from Great Fire of 1912? There was actually a discussion about the banner's presence when the article was up for FAs, and a discussion on Nallan's talk page concluded that the banner should stay. Bob Moncrief EBDW! 17:40, 2 June 2013 (BST)

They don't own the page, any more than Hagnat owns the BIC, which he created. They can arby me if they still care -- boxy 22:15, 2 June 2013 (BST)
Cool. Just wanted to make sure you acted with awareness of the history of the issue. Bob Moncrief EBDW! 01:03, 3 June 2013 (BST)
He totally hates that banner. --  AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 21:58, 3 June 2013 (BST)
It's better than it used to be, but still doesn't belong on backstory pages -- boxy 03:21, 4 June 2013 (BST)

Thanks

Thanks for categorizing. It's one of those things I'm not very good at and usually forget to do. Any chance you're planning on attending the Big Bash? We could always use another zombie in the mix. ;) Aichon 03:07, 2 June 2013 (BST)

I actually did wander on over to buttonville, after reading the BB4 page. Will see how it goes -- boxy 03:41, 2 June 2013 (BST)

Regarding this

I bet it's an extension I installed in Chrome the other day. It looks like all of the mangled parts were areas that included numbers of some sort, and the extension may have tried to replace them as part of what it does. Thanks for catching that. I wasn't aware of the fact that it could even do something like that. Aichon 04:54, 21 May 2013 (BST)

Sorry

Sorry, I forgot. I will try to sign my comments in the future.Lpha 23:58, 19 April 2013 (BST)

Sorry to interrupt...

Could you please look at Sexualharrison's vote as well? In my opinion, "Kill because fuck you" is just as inane as "because, kittens". Thank you? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lpha (talkcontribs) 21:55, 10 April 2013.

Boxy struck Ross' vote because it was unjustified. "Because, kittens" doesn't mean anything and was intentionally random. SH's vote is far from random or meaningless, and was clearly made in response to a discussion you started on his talk page. Besides which, it's common courtesy to take a personal dispute up with that person directly before trying to involve figures of authority. Have you considered simply talking to Harrison yourself? He clearly saw your initial request as an unnecessary one that made no sense, so he took offense. Perhaps if you could explain why you requested that in the first place, he may be more amenable. Or you may want to take the high ground and simply apologize for any offense that may have been taken, even though it was not your intent to have offended him. Aichon 23:21, 10 April 2013 (BST)
this is going to be good.--User:Sexualharrison23:43, 10 April 2013

Well, I already had a look at it, when you brought it up on Aichon's talk page, and posted this;

boxy said:
If you'll notice, he did give a justification in his original vote, to wit: "Meh", which translates to "this is a bland and uninspiring suggestion, and I could either vote keep or kill, so don't give me any shit about my vote, or it may change".
Or were those just the voices in my head? Whistle2.gif -- boxy 10:32, 8 April 2013 (BST)
Surely you could have worked out what his justification was for that responce. You read his original vote, you chose to give him shit about it, even after being told not to worry about such trivialities -- boxy 03:48, 11 April 2013 (BST)
BAWWWWW!.jpg Wah!

--User:Sexualharrison22:10, 11 April 2013

I still have more keep votes than kill votes, you know. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lpha (talkcontribs) at an unknown time.

Are you aware that you need a 2/3 majority to have your suggestion marked as Peer Reviewed? And that you're only one vote away from losing that? Don't count your chickens before they hatch. Aichon 01:26, 13 April 2013 (BST)
I think it's cute that you think I care -- boxy 03:27, 13 April 2013 (BST)

Very Old Character Looking to Play Again

Hello, my name is now Mikhail1979, but I used to be MikhailA, director of Lejnair Corp. and what not. It's been six years, but I suddenly have the itch to play again. Unfortuantely, I have since lost my passwords to my wiki account as well at the four characters I had in the game. Listen, we gotta talk. You and I both know that I'm actually one of the finest warriors in Malton. Also, there are not many groups stronger than Nazi Zombies either. Perhaps only the RRF is stronger right now. During Operation Naaldloos we have defeated a group of about 250 survivors with less than 4 dozen of men. In the Blitz we're taking on 350 survivors with even less men, now that Fascist Italian has shown his true colors. I don't see how these things are "Nazi propaganda". I'm just stating fact. So leave my pages alone and do something useful. I'm taking warfare on Urban Dead to a whole new level. And that level is called Sitzkrieg. Just a small step for a man, but an enormous step, für das Vaterland. Generaloberst 16:40, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

There we go again "yes but you are just a zerger". You don't even know my ingame name. Perhaps I'm not even wearing the tag. I can be everyone in Malton. Generaloberst 18:51, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
I'm sorry General, I never claimed you were zerging. I was merely commenting on the make up of the group you associate with. I believe we're talking about Zombie Nazis? I feel I have a right to call several of their members level one players with little or no Xp, created one after another over the course of only a few minutes. In fact I have. Here are four examples. You're getting a little obsessed that everyone thinks you're a zerger. --Rosslessness 19:20, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
Ok so someone has multiple accounts within Nazi Zombies. How is that a problem? It was funny how at the time Corn and "Zyckde" both had multiple accounts within their group. Corn was then constantly called "zerger" and "PK-er" (both ingame as on the wiki), though what Zyckde did was considered ok. That is what propaganda is. Generaloberst 10:59, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
if you're noting propagandas affectiveness on the weak then why are you so goddamn shit at it, you spout more of it than you do vowels DANCEDANCEREVOLUTION (TALK | CONTRIBS) 11:36, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
Learn English and learn to read. Not propaganda from my side. Generaloberst 14:07, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
you spend more time having tantrums about jews than you spend time breathing. If you actually legitimately believe that you don't use any sort of progaganda and that if one thinks you do he needs to learn english then you are literally the most retarded person who's ever been on this wiki. DANCEDANCEREVOLUTION (TALK | CONTRIBS) 23:40, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
bitch got owned? DANCEDANCEREVOLUTION (TALK | CONTRIBS) 01:04, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
When you create a number of pages like that, claiming to be glossary terms, but then proceed to fill the pages with group specific images and references to your own group and it's greatness, it becomes clear that they are nothing more than group propaganda/trolling. And they'll be moved -- boxy 21:48, 17 March 2012 (BST)
Yeah, and if other (non-Aryan) pages are made like Jihad tactics including fitting images then it's all ok suddenly. What you just said occurs on the wiki all the time. It really isn't anything specific for Nazi Zombies. Just stop being jealous that someone invented a tactic you wasn't able to come up with and go outside to find some friends. People wouldn't bully you all the time and you wouldnt be such a cunt. Generaloberst 10:59, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
if you legit think that jihad tactics is the same kettle of fish as the shitskrieg page where it matters then you are beyond help. i have no problem with either but just saying DANCEDANCEREVOLUTION (TALK | CONTRIBS) 11:36, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
Lol. Why was corn called a zerger when he was zerging. That's an amazing question. --Rosslessness 12:05, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
Corn wasn't zerging, corn had multiple accounts in the same group. Generaloberst 14:30, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
Ah, I see how that could lead to us having differing opinions on this. Which alts are his? I could probably get some of them off the zerg list, if they aren't in the same burb. --Rosslessness 16:30, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
Damn, I was looking for this quote for ages. Completely pointless now. --I'm not the Ross UDWiki needs, I'm the Ross it deserves. 20:41, 28 September 2012 (BST)
How does the page that you referenced deal with my criticism of your pages being little more than group propaganda? I see no group links at all on that page. Perhaps you were expecting me to have other objections, and just argued against that strawman? -- boxy 13:41, 18 March 2012 (BST)
even more so he is using a joke tactic as his example. pure genuis --User:Sexualharrison13:49, 18 March 2012
Jihad tactics shows images of Jihadists. The pinata page has links to Maltonian Inquisition or however you spell the name. What you call 'propaganda' (I call it fact, or in case of images decoration) is all over the wiki. Generaloberst 14:30, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

Bureaucrat Elections

Hey, Boxy, I've started the Bureaucrat election for your seat. I hope you don't mind, but it was a day overdue, so I just did the leg work. Feel free to correct anything I've done wrong. :P --Shortround }.{ My Contributions 11:25, 14 March 2012 (UTC)

The system is designed so that anyone can start the process, so that's fine and dandy -- boxy 10:57, 16 March 2012 (BST)
Just so you know, Box-man, you can keep your seat. --Axe Hack 11:10, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

Remember me?

Because I remember you and will be very sad if you've forgotten me. --Mikalos209 02:54, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
