Description

History

Aldworth Walk was a quiet street before the outbreak, surrounded by the Turner Walk Railway Station, Waggott Grove, Langbrick Street and St. Callistus's Church. The only moment when it was more than a quiet suburban road, was during the annual Street Fair. Renowned throughout the entire city, and beyond, the street fair brought all kinds of attraction and entertainment to the neighborhood. During the day, people came for the bearded lady, the jugglers and the traditional reenactment of a local love story. At night, however, the whole affair often devolved into a rough party for twenty-somethings, with a hang-over that lasted for days and a trashed street as a result. The last street fair was on February 7, 2005, since the zombie outbreak prevented any new editions.
