The Free Syrian Army (الجيش السوري الحر, al-Jaysh as-Sūrī al-Ḥurr, FSA) is a group of defected Syrian Armed Forces officers and soldiers. The group aims to secure self-determination for the Syrian people and free Malton from jihadist extremists.
